Marketing Manager / Sales Assistant Job Description

At Flora Farms, marketing is about understanding people and building awareness of Missouri’s new cannabis industry and how our products and services can satisfy our customers’ needs. We’re looking for an experienced and versatile marketing manager who is hungry to do this and more. Our ideal candidate has experience executing marketing campaigns while working with outside contractors to build a new brand. He/she will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, as well as long-term strategy and thriving in a start-up environment. Objectives of this Role

  • Establish brand identity, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across social platforms
  • Lead the execution of marketing strategies from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration with our external marketing firm
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and best practices to build successful strategies
  • Conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Develop language and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all public-­facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
  • Manage content and updates for customers, establishing budget guidelines, participating in events, and providing additional sales support
  • Maintain CRM database and assist Sales Director with account management
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies and increase customer conversions
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and adjust accordingly
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or creative field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Hubspot CRM, Marketing Hub, and Sales Hub
  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy, specifically Instagram and Facebook Business Suite
  • Proven experience in basic web design
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or other visual design software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
