Activists in Missouri have been working extremely hard to bring safe access to the state. The New Approach Missouri medical cannabis campaign crossed a very significant milestone this week. Below is more information about it via a press release issued by the campaign today:

We have collected 250,000 signatures — a major milestone for our petition drive to place medical cannabis on November’s ballot!
250,000 Missourians have taken the first step, but we need your help to keep this momentum going.
We are quickly closing in on the key number of signatures we need, but now the campaign gets much more difficult – and more expensive to maintain. As we approach the number of signatures required in each congressional district, it becomes harder and harder to find people who haven’t already signed.
Despite this challenge, our petitioners gathered nearly 6,000 signatures over the weekend – an impressive number, and we are so grateful.
