Amazon recently removed marijuana from drug tests and now treats employee use of marijuana in the same way as alcohol. Other companies are also changing their marijuana screening policies.
Todd Maish, president and chief executive officer of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, said that some companies are definitely relaxed, while others are not.
“Almost every company says job impairment is unacceptable, but random drug tests on past uses are undoubtedly declining for many,” he told the Illinois radio network. ..
